New President and Vice President have been elected for the Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for the year 2013. CS S.N Ananthasubramanian , has been elected as the President of the Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ISCI) , while CS Harish K. Vaid has also been elected as the Vice-President of the Council.Both the positions will be held with effect from 19 January 2013.
CS S. N. Ananthasubramanian has been the Vice-President of ICSI in 2012.A member of the Council of ICSI since 2007,he was re-elected in 2010 for the term 2011- 2014. Shri Ananthasubramanian, FCS have remained in practice as a Company Secretary at Thane since 1991, having been in employment from 1976.
On the other hand, CS Harish K. Vaid has been a Member of various Committees on Corporate Laws constituted by ASSOCHAM, Confederation of Indian Industries and PHD Chambers of Commerce & Industry. He is also on the board of various listed and unlisted companies.
CS Harish K. Vaid is presently Sr. President (Corporate Affairs) and Company Secretary of Jaiprakash Associates Limited, the flagship company of the Jaypee Group
