Eligibility Criteria for Technician & Stipendiary Trainee Posts 2016
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Technician “C” – Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) or Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in SSC (Science & Maths). 4 years of experience in the relevant trade after completion of the ITI course is mandatory.
- Stipendiary Trainee Category – II - Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) or Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in SSC (Science & Maths).
- Stipendiary Trainee Category – II (Biology) – Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in HSC (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as subjects.
- Stipendiary Trainee Category – II (Plant Operator) – Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects).
- Stipendiary Trainee Category – II (Laboratory Assistant) – Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) or Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in SSC (Science & Maths).
Age Limit
- Technician “C” posts – Up to 27 years
- Stipendiary Trainee Category – II – 18-22 years
Selection Procedure for Technician & Stipendiary Trainee Posts 2016
- For Technician “C” posts – Written Examination and Trade Test. The written examination shall be in Maths, Physics, Chemistry of HSC / SSC level and the respective trades of ITI level in the form of an objective type paper.
- Stipendiary Trainee Category – II posts – The recruitment shall comprise of Written Examination only. The written examination shall be in Maths, Physics, Chemistry of HSC / SSC level and the respective trades of ITI level in the form of an objective type paper.
