IIFT 2014: Results declared; 1411 students called for second round

IIFT 2014 results have been declared. A total of 1411 students are part of the list given by the IIFT authorities. Check the result here.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) conducts its own entrance exam for admissions in its flagship course viz. MBA in International Business. IIFT exam 2014 was conducted on 23rd November; the very next day post CAT 2014 Exam, on 22nd November.

A total of 1411 students have made to the list. These students will be called for the second round of selection process. Second round of the Selection process includes Essay Writing, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Like IIFT exam, even XAT has Essay Writing, Group Discussion and Personal Interview in their Selection process.

IIFT is a place for the aspirants who want to do their MBA in a specific and focused specialization of International Business. IIFT runs the course in its two campuses; Kolkata and New Delhi.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was set up in 1963 by the Government of India as an autonomous organisation to help professionalise the country’s foreign trade management and increase exports by developing human resources; generating, analysing and disseminating data; and conducting research.

IIFT Exam Pattern:

  • No of Questions:118
  • No of Marks:100
  • No of Sections:4  (Cutoffs exist for each section)
  • Marking: Differential
  • Negative marking: 1/3 rd of the mark allotted for a question
  • Total No of Sets:4 sets (A B C D)
