The Indian Institute of Management - Bangalore, one of the premier B-schools in India, has been ranked 53rd in the Financial Times’ top 70 list for Executive Education Rankings 2014 for Open Programmes.
For the 16th year, the Financial Times (FT) has ranked the world’s leading providers of Executive Education Programmes, non-degree courses for companies and working managers.
To come up with the list of Executive Education Rankings 2014 for Open Programmes, the FT evaluates the top 70 providers of open-enrolment courses: courses on specific topics such as leadership that are directed to all professionals regardless of the company they work for.
When compared to the 2013 ranking, this year the IIMB has upgraded its position by 10 rank points.
The FT 2014 Open Executive Education Programmes survey, which had around 6500 participants, was open only to internationally accredited business schools that generated Executive Education Programme revenues of over $2 million in 2013.
