Indian Institute of Management-Indore, (IIM-I) commences training programme on innovation management specifically customized for the Indian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The programmed is co-created by experts from German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Indian companies (Steinbeis in partnership with CEFE International and GIZ) to work collaboratively on “Managing Innovation in Small Businesses”. The programme will be implemented by Deutsche Gasellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
It is a 7 day programme (5-days of practical training followed by a 4 weeks implementation break and ending with a 2-day finishing school) spread over a period of 6 weeks.
As per the directives of the programme during the initial five-day training, participants will work on their individual innovation projects that are supported by the experts and facilitators from German and India.
Ananya Mishra, IIM Indore media incharge said that, “In order to contribute to this growth path, SMEs need to continue to innovate. This programme has been designed to enhance the innovation management capacity of SMEs”.

The fee for non-residential candidates for attending the training workshop is INR 20,000/- (in addition to the service tax, finishing workshop charges @ INR 5,000/- + service tax).
