IIM-A organized open day for high school children

Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) organized an Open Day for the high school students on Sunday i.e. on 20th November 2016. In the event, more than 550 students hailing from class 9 to class 12 participated. The event also witnessed active participation from more than 30 teachers.
Open day aims to encouraged the prospects of opportunities and possibilities that remain open for the school students. High school students gained various knowledgeable insights during ‘Talk over a Walk’ and they also got to learn about life at IIM-A. This overview was acquired by them when they moved around the campus, taking the underpass, alongside visiting the newly created recreational walkway and conversation spot near the heritage marvel of Louis Kahn Plaza.
The teachers participated in open forum discussion that was held by Professor Rakesh Basant. Professor Besant is a dean of alumni and external relations and team members of IIM-A's SMILE (Student Mediated Initiative for Learning to Excel) Centre.
