Eligibility Criteria for Faculty (Technical Officer) Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Professor/ additional Director : PhD. Degree in Engineering/Technology/ Science/ Applied Science in subjects relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and 10 years experience in teaching / industry / research in related subjects; OR Post Graduate degree in Engineering/Technology/Science/ Applied Science in subjects relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and 15 years experience in teaching/ industry/ research in related subjects.
Associate Professor/Joint director : PhD. Degree in Engineering/Technology/ Science/ Applied Science in subjects relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and 6 years experience in teaching / industry / research in related subjects; OR Post Graduate degree in Engineering/Technology/Science/ Applied Science in subjects relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and 10 years experience in teaching/ industry/ research in related subjects. Experience will be counted in teaching subjects related to Packaging/working in packaging or package user industry/organizations dealing packaging development , research, standardization etc.
Assistant Professor/Deputy Director: Ph.D degree in Science/applied science with at least 3 years experience OR Masters degree in Science/Applied Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the field related to packaging. The candidate should have at least 8 years experience in industry/training/testing/consultancy etc. OR Graduate in Science/Applied Sciences + PG Diploma in Packaging with at least 10 years.
