1. Professor
Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in the appropriate discipline.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of teaching, research and/or industrial experience, of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc, IIMs and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or Foreign Institute.
Pay Scale: Pay band 4 of Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs.10500
Total Emoluments (approx.): Minimum Rs.48000 (as on 31 December 2013)
2. Associate Professor
Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in the appropriate discipline.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of teaching, research and/or industrial experience, of whichat least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Pay Scale: Pay band 4 of Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs.9500
Total Emoluments (approx.): Minimum Rs. 42800 (as on 31 December 2013)
3. Assistant Professor
Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in the appropriate discipline.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching, research and/or industrial experience, of whichat least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Age limit: below 35 years [as on the date of interview]
Pay Scale: Pay band 3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with AGP of Rs.8000
Total Emoluments (approx.): Minimum Rs. 30000 (as on 31 December 2013)
4. Assistant Professor (on Contract)
Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in the appropriate discipline.
Age limit: below 35 years [as on the date of interview]
Pay Scale: Pay band 3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with AGP of Rs.6000
Total Emoluments (approx.): Minimum Rs. 20140 (as on 31 December 2013)
NOTE: Foreign Nationals and persons with PIO card are eligible for the post of Visiting Faculty (on Contract) with consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 60000 – Rs. 100000 per month.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.
