4. 4.       Senior Technician for Hydraulics and Pneumatics Laboratory: 2 posts
5. 5.       Senior Technician for Instrumentation, Automation and Control Engineering Laboratory: 2 posts
6. 6.       Senior Technician for Thermodynamics and Boiler Chemistry Laboratory: 1 post

Eligibility Criteria for IMU Senior Technician Post 2016

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• Senior Technician for Applied Mechanical Laboratory: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from an institute approved by All Indian Council of Technical Education.
• Senior Technician for Machine Shop: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering from an institute approved by All Indian Council of Technical Education and 1 year work experience in relevant field or ITI Trade Certificate under Apprentices Act, 1961 with 3 years experience in relevant field.
• Senior Technician for Welding and Gas Cutting Workshop: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an institute approved by All Indian Council of Technical Education and 1 year work experience in relevant field or ITI Trade Certificate under Apprentices Act, 1961 with 3 years work experience.
• Senior Technician for Hydraulics and Pneumatics Laboratory: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering or Automobile Engineering from an institute approved by All Indian Council of Technical Education.
• Senior Technician for Instrumentation, Automation and Control Engineering Laboratory: Diploma in Instrumentation or Automation or Control Engineering from an institute approved by All Indian Council of Technical Education.
• Senior Technician for Thermodynamics and Boiler Chemistry Laboratory: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an institute approved by the All Indian Council of Technical Education.

Not exceeding 35 years
