India Post Recruitment 2016 for 66 Postal /Sorting Assistant, Postman and MTS Posts

Department of Posts, office of Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Circle invited applications for recruitment to the post for Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, Postman and MTS. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through the prescribed format on or before 24 August 2016.

Under Department of Post Recruitment 2016 out of total 66 posts, 16 Posts are for Postal Assistant, 07 Posts are for Sorting Assistant, 28 Posts are for Postman and 15 Posts are for MTS under sports quota.

Eligibility for Postal/Sorting Assistant: candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board and should have represented State or the country in the National or International competition in the sports/games games mentioned. Or Sportsmen who have represented their university in the inter university tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in the sports/games or Sportsmen who have represented the state schools team in the National Sports/Games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in the sports/games shown above. Or Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Eligibility for Postman: candidate should have completed Matriculation from a recognised board along with the sports qualification for the sport applied and should have represented State or the country in the National or International competition in the sports/games games mentioned. Or Sportsmen who have represented their university in the inter university tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in the sports/games or Sportsmen who have represented the state schools team in the National Sports/Games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in the sports/games shown above. Or Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Eligibility for MTS: candidate should have completed Matriculation or ITI from a recognised board along with the sports qualification for the sport applied and should have represented State or the country in the National or International competition in the sports/games games mentioned. Or Sportsmen who have represented their university in the inter university tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in the sports/games or Sportsmen who have represented the state schools team in the National Sports/Games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in the sports/games shown above. Or Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.
