Indian Army has invited application for recruitment to the posts of Havildar in Science and Arts in the Army Educational Cops. Eligible and interested candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format along with necessary documents on or before 15 May 2016.
In total 635 applications are invited from Indian citizens out of which 397 posts are reserved for Science Stream candidates and 238 posts are reserved for Arts Stream candidates. Candidates who are willing to apply for the Science Stream must have completed M. Sc /B. Sc / MCA / BCA/ M. Tec h / B .Te c h/B. Sc (IT) with Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry /Botany /Zoology /Biology/Electronics and Computer Science and should have working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Moreover, candidates willing to apply for Arts Stream should have completed MA/BA with English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics and Sociology and should have working knowledge of Hindi and English. The age bar is 20-25 years which is relaxable as per categories.
Candidates who will be shortlisted would be required to go through the recruitment process of qualifying the Written Examination which will be held in two phases i.e., Part I and Part II. Part I would be a compulsory section and Part II would be dependent on the type of stream opted. After the written examination, the selected candidates would be required to go through the Teaching Aptitude Test/ Interview.
All the interested candidates who are eligible can apply for the post of Havildar in Indian Army through the prescribed format along with required documents on or before 15 May 2016.
