Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union under Ministry of Defence, Government of India issued notification inviting applications from Retired (Musician) from Services (Army/ Navy/ Air Force) -- Male candidates only -- for recruitment to 11 posts – one post of JCO/ (Musician) Band Master and 10 posts of Navik (Musician) on re-employment basis from all the three Services (Army/ Navy/ Air force) with specialization in Saxophone, Clarinet, F-Hom, Trumpet, Tenor Trombone, Eb Bass, Drummer, Flute/ Piccolo. Interested and eligible candidates should send their applications to the ICG office by post so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 31 July 2014.

1. JCO/ Equivalent (Musician) Band Master: 1 post
Eligibility Criteria: Retired officers in JCO/ equivalent rank from Army/ Navy/ Air Force.
2. Navik (Musicians): 11 posts
Specialization required: Saxophone/ Clarinet/ F-Hom/ Trumpet/ Tenor/ Trombone/ Eb Bass/ Drummer/ Flute/ Piccolo Eligibility Criteria: Retired from Army/ Navy/ Air Force in OR Petty Officer and below/ equivalent rank.
Selection Procedure
Candidate declared medically fit at the time of retirement are only eligible to apply for the post.
The individual will be re-employed in the equivalent rank to that retired from his previous Service.
The seniority in recruited rank will be fixed in accordance with the joining date in Coast Guard.
