About the Institute:
The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is a group of 15 autonomous engineering and technology-oriented institutes of higher education. They are among the most premier institutes of the country.
Purpose: To shortlist students for the MCA and other Dual Degree and Post-Bachelor Degree programs at the IITs.
Cost of form: Rs 1000 (Offline); Rs 900 (Online)
Eligibility Criteria: A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 55%.
Date of Examination: 8 May, 2011
Deadline for Application submission: January
Selection Process: Each candidate is supposed to take a written test
Type of Questions: Fully Objective
Any Negative Marking? Yes, for each incorrect answer, 1/3 of the maximum marks assigned to that question would be deducted.
Based on the test, separate rank lists shall be prepared for General, OBC (non creamy layer), SC, ST and PD candidates.
