Indian Navy Recruitment of Engineering SSC Officer 2011

Applications are invited from UNMARRIED male Engineers for filling up the post of Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Executive Branch (General Service) and Technical Branch of the Indian Navy for July 2012 Course at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala.

Eligibility Criteria: The criteria for applying for Technical Entry Scheme (TES) in Indian Army are as follows:

• Educational Qualification: Four years BE/B. Tech Engineering Degree qualified with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised university
• Age Limit
  
  a) Technical General Service/ Submarine Cadre and Executive (GS) Cadre: Between 19 & 1/2 to 25 years
  
  b) Naval Architecture Cadre: Between 21 and 25 years for through Permanent Commission/Short Service Commission 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Jul-2012. Minimum 16.5 years, maximum 19.5 years on 1st day of the month in which the course is commencing.
• Sex and Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for the entry. Women candidates can apply for the post of Naval Architecture Cadre.

Selection Procedure: The selection procedure is as follows.

• Initial screening/ Short listing of applications based on qualifications of the candidates.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview which will be held in two stages.
  
  a) Stage I- It wil consist of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test will be conducted on the second day of arrival at SSB.
  
  b) Stage II tests comprising of Psychological testing, Group Testing, and Interview which will last for 4 days.
• Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx duration 3-5 days).
• Final Selection as per the order of merit

• Print two copies of the online Application Form having the system generated Roll Number. One copy of this Application Form is to be duly signed and mailed (posted) to Post Box No. 04, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi - 110 011 along with the following documents:- Self attested photograph, Attested photo copies of 10th & 12th class certificates along with Mark Sheets, other educational certificates and mark sheets of all semester/years.
• A superscription is to be made on envelope: ONLINE ROLL NO. _______ APPLICATION FOR SSC X (GS)/ TECHNICAL BRANCH (E/L/SM) - JUL 2012 COURSE Qualification ______ Percentage _____%.
• Application and requisite enclosures must be properly tagged/stapled, IHQ MoD (Navy) will not be responsible for loss of enclosures, if sent loose.
