Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi invited applications from eligible candidates, who fulfill the requisite criteria for filling up the following below mentioned Academic and Non- Academic posts. Few Posts are on deputation basis for the period of 03 years which is extendable and other on the direct recruitment basis. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 05 September 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification 

• For Post 1 to 3  :

Possess Post Graduation Degree in any discipline or equivalent with Ph.D. from the recognized Board or University.

• For Post 4 to 6  :

Officers of the Central or State Govt. or Union Territories or PSUs or Autonomous Organization etc.  :

1. Holding analogous posts on Regular basis in the department; or
2. With experience of service in relevant pay band plus appropriate grade pay or equivalent; and
3. Possess requisite qualification.

• For Post 7  :

Possess Master Degree or equivalent from the recognized University.

Age Limit

• For Post 1 to 3  :  59 years.
• For Post 4 to 6  :  57 years.
• For Post 7  :  55 years.

Pay Scale

• For Post 1 to 5  :

Pay Band (PB – 4) and Pay Scale of Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/- Per Month.

• For Post 6 & 7  :

Pay Band (PB – 4) with grade Pay of Rs. 8,900/- Per Month.

Application Fee

• Application Fee (Non- Refundable) is of Rs. 200/- (Two Hundred only) for general and OBC category candidates and

1. For Post 1 to 3  : Rs. 50/- (Fifty) for SC/ ST candidates.
2. For rest all other posts  :  Rs. 100/- (One hundred) for SC/ ST candidates.

How to Apply

• Interested Candidates may apply in the prescribed format along with :

1. For Post 1 to 3  : attested photo copies of the relevant certificates/ testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications, experience, category (SC/ ST/ PWD), etc. with Demand Draft and a recent Passport size Photograph which should be  affix on the application form (if reqd.) may be forwarded to the “Director, Academic Coordination Division, New Culinary Building, Opposite Academic Block, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110 068” on or before 05 September 2014.
2. For Rest all other Posts  :  duly self- attested and ACRs/ APARs dossiers of the last 5 years and vigilance clearance (for deputation posts) with Demand Draft and a recent Passport size Photograph which should be  affix on the application form (if reqd.) may be forwarded to the “Assistant Registrar (Recruitment), Administration Division, Block - 7, Room No. 13, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110 068”on or before 05 September 2014.
