CAT 2013 was conducted by IIM Indore and when results were declared many aspirants were unhappy with it. Percentile scores had many discrepancies and aspirants filed petitions in the court.
CAT 2013 aspirants can now hope to get the raw scores instead of percentiles. Indore bench of MP High Court has directed Indian Institutes of Management to acquire the same from CAT 2013 testing agency Prometric and provide it to the aspirants. The court has also directed the IIMs to explain their scoring methodology used for CAT 2013. They have been given a time of two weeks to provide the same. This will give them a better picture of their performance and thus will help in CAT 2014.
CAT 2013 results were declared on January 14, 2014 and around a lakh of the test takers scored zero (as per the reports) or less and it raised concerns in many. As per the reports, Verbal ability section had major issues.
