Eligibility Criteria for ISLRTC Professors, Interpreter and Other Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
- Consultant: Master in Linguistics or M.Ed. in special education with 10 years teaching/research experience.
- Associate Professor: M.A. Linguistics, PhD in Linguistics, M.Ed. in special education, M.A. Linguistics/translation studies with 8 years teaching/research experience.
- Assistant Professor: M.Ed. in special education, M.A. Linguistics/translation studies/sign linguistics and C level- Indian Sign Language Course or Diploma with 4 years teaching/research experience.
- Instructor: BAASLS and C level- Indian Sign Language Course or Diploma with proficiency test for Sign Language.
- Research Assistant: BAASLS and C level- Indian Sign Language Course or Diploma with proficiency test for Sign Language.
- Interpreter: Graduation and C level- Indian Sign Language Course or Diploma with minimum 3 years interpreting experience.
- Master Trainer: Graduation and C level- Indian Sign Language Course or Diploma with minimum 3 years teaching experience.
- Librarian: Master Degree in Library science or Library & Information Science with 5 years professional experience in a Library.
- Library Assistant: Bachelor Degree in Library science or Library & Information Science with 2 years professional experience in a Library.
- Section Officer: Graduation and knowledge of Government rules & regulations with 7 years experience in Administration & Accounts.
- Senior PA: Graduation, Shorthand: Dictation-10 min. @100 w.p.m. Transcription-40 min. on Computer.
- Accountant: B.Com and knowledge of Government rules & regulations.
- Cashier: Graduation and knowledge of Government rules & regulations.

- Associate Professor: Not exceeding 45 years
- Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 40 years
