Jamia Hamdard Job Notification: Jamia Hamdard has invited applications for the recruitment to the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Eligible persons can appear for walk-in-interview on 14 October 2020.

Various teaching vacancies purely on contractual basis in the School of Unani Medical Education and Research (SUMER), Jamia Hamdard, as per the details as below.

Jamia Hamdard Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Vacancy Details

• Professor: 01 Post
• Associate Professor: 03 Posts
• Assistant Professor: 03 Posts

Eligibility Criteria for Prof., Associate Prof. and Assistant Prof. Job 

Educational Qualification:

• Professor: (i) A Graduate with Bachelor degree in Unani Medicine (UM) from a University or its equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Act, 1970 (48 of 1970).

(ii) A Post Graduate (PG) degree in the subject or speciality concerned included in the Schedules to the Indian Medicine Central Act, 1970. Ten years teaching experience in concerned subject or five years teaching experience as Associate Professor (Reader) in concerned subject or total ten years research exp. in regular service in Research Councils of Central Govt. or State Govt. or Union territory or University or National Institutions. Min. Five papers published in a recognized journal.

• Associate Professor: (i) A Bachelor degree in Unani Medicine from a University or its equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Act, 1970 (48 of 1970).

(ii) A Post-graduate (PG) degree in the subject or speciality concerned included in the Schedules to the Indian Medicine Central (IMC) Act, 1970. Five (05) years teaching exp. in concerned subject or total Five years research experience in regular service in Research Councils of Central Government or State Govt. or Union territory or University or National Institutions. Min three papers published in a recognized journal.

• Assistant Professor: (i) A Bachelor degree in Unani Medicine from a University or its equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970).

(ii) A Post Graduate (PG) degree in the subject or specialty concerned included in the schedule to the Indian Medicine Central (IMC) Council Act, 1970.

How to Apply

Eligible persons can appear for walk-in-interview on 14 October 2020. Interested persons should bring their updated Resume along with all original educational certificates/mark sheets, self-attested photocopy and a recent passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending interview. A Walk-in-interview will be held on 14 October 2020 from 11:00 am onwards in the board room of School of Unani Medical Education & Research for the various teaching vacancies purely on contractual basis in the SUMER (School of Unani Medical Education and Research), Jamia Hamdard.
