Jamia Milia Islamia begins application for B.Tech/B. Arch admissions 2018

Jamia Milia Islamia University has begun online applications for B.Tech/B. Arch admissions 2018 from December 05, 2017. The students seeking admissions to engineering courses offered can apply for JMI B.Tech/B. Arch admissions 2018 before March 07, 2018. Jamia University has notified last year that it will not be conducting its own entrance exam and will be admitting students on basis of their ranks in JEE Main exam only.

Students who are appearing for JEE Main 2018 and who will qualify the entrance exam to secure a valid rank as per the JEE Main 2018 rank list will be able to get admissions in the B.Tech/B. Arch courses offered at Jamia University.

Besides, JEE Main 2018 rank students need to fulfil the eligibility criteria of JMI B.Tech/B. Arch admissions 2018 as mentioned below –           

Eligibility For B.Tech admissions –

• Candidates should appear and qualify paper 1 of JEE Main 2018
• Students who have completed or are completed their SSC i.e. 10+2 or Intermediate or its equivalent qualifying exam of any recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics as their main subjects, with minimum 55% marks in aggregate of these subjects OR
• Three to four year diploma in engineering with at least 55% in aggregate from any institute recognised by AICTE or a state board of technical education

Eligibility For B. Arch admissions –

• Candidates should appear and qualify paper 2 of JEE Main 2018
• Students who passed 10 + 2 qualifying exam and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry in aggregate subjects OR
• Students who have completed a three-year Diploma after metric/10^th from a recognized Central/State govt. Institute or university and should have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for Jamia University Admissions 2018

How to apply for JMI B.Tech/B. Arch admissions 2018 –

• Click on official link of Jamia University to apply
• Click on ‘Register yourself’ and enter all details like email id, password, name, date of birth and mobile number
• Now you can login with registered details and fill the application form completely
• You need to upload photograph, signature and make fee payment to complete the application
• Submit the application form of JMI B.Tech/B. Arch admissions 2018 in online mode only

Note: Candidates should have applied for JEE Main 2018 before filling up JMI B.Tech/B. Arch admissions 2018 as they need to fill their JEE Main 2018 application number in JMI application  form 2018.

Selection of candidates for admissions to B.Tech/B. Arch courses at Jamia University will be based completely on merit rank obtained by candidates for paper 1 and paper 2 as well as reservation criteria of Jamia University.
