The new pattern for JEE (Advanced) by IIT, Bombay for admissions to IITs in 2014 will now, not have multiple choice questions. The pattern will be subjective and students won’t have to write long answers in the said pattern.

The step wise elaborate answering will no longer ne required, instead the students would be asked to solve problems and write the answers only. This must be noted that the new pattern is yet to get approval from the senate’s of the other IITs.

Admissions to the most coveted seats in IITs will be determined by a two-tier exam system with both JEE (Main) followed by the JEE (Advanced), also it must be noted that, the change in format will be introduced by 2014.
