JEE Main–2015: Image correction has been started

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened an online window for JEE Main-2015 applicants to correct any discrepancies in the images uploaded at the time of online submission of JEE Main-2015 application form. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which is the conducting body of the Joint Entrance Examination, has provided a link to remove any discrepancy in the uploaded images. The JEE Main-2015 application process has been completed and no new application for JEE Main-2015 will be accepted. Candidates can only correct the details as per the schedule. New link for the correction images has been activated from December 31st, 2014. Candidates need to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature and thumb impression in the prescribed format as below.

Guidelines to upload images:
Candidate must ensure the following guideline while making corrections in the uploaded images:
Scanned Photograph:

• The photograph of a candidate must be uploaded in the JPEG format only as no other format will be accepted.
• The size of the candidate's photograph must be between 4KB to 100KB.
• The dimension of the candidate's photograph must be 3.5cm X 4.5cm.
• Candidates can upload color as well as black and white photographs. Polaroid photographs will not be accepted.
• The photograph must have the name of the candidate and the date printed below it.
• Candidates should not be wearing caps or goggles in the photograph.
• If the photograph uploaded by the applicant is blur or not clearly visible, the application request is liable to be rejected.

Scanned signature of candidate:

• The scanned image of candidate's signature must be uploaded in the JPEG format only as no other format will be accepted.
• The scanned image of candidate's signature must be between 1KB to 30KB.
• Dimension of the scanned image of candidate's signature must be 3.5cm X 1.5cm.

Scanned thumb impression of candidate:

• The scanned image of candidate's thumb impression must be uploaded in the JPEG format only as no other format will be accepted.
• The scanned image of candidate's thumb impression must be between 1KB to 30KB.
• Dimension of the scanned image of candidate's thumb impression must be 3.5cm X 1.5cm.
• Male applicants should upload their left hand thumb impression.
• Female applicants should upload their right hand thumb impression.
