The college was founded by Saint Claudine Thevenet in Lyons (France) in 1818. Six Sisters of the Order came to India in 1842 and the first institution started by them was St. Patrick’s School in Agra. It was also decided to start a College for women in Delhi and the college was founded in July 1968 as a constituent college of the University of Delhi.
Delhi University released the first cut off list on 26 June 2012. A cut off list is a primary component to demarcate students on the basis of their marks. This medium helps the Delhi University function smoothly and in a designed manner.
