Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board / JKSSB has announced of 560 vacancies in various posts. Interested and eligible candidates are required to send their applications before 31 October.

JKSSB has announced vacancies in various State/Divisional/District Cadre and departments of the State. Vacancies are notified in posts of Teachers, Assistants, pump operator, driver, Stenographer, mechanic, technician, etc at Baramulla, Bandipora, Rajouri, Div Jammu, Div Kashmir, Anantnag, Ramban, Budgam, Doda, Ganderbal, Kathua, Kishtwar, Kulgam, Kupwara, Poonch, Pulwama, Reasi, Samba, Shopian, Srinagar and Udhampur.
Candidates should note that JKSSB had notified of this recruitment advertisement earlier as well. Only the permanent residents of J&K are eligible to apply for the post. Candidates of general category must be in the age group 18-40 years (age relaxation is applicable to reserved category as per government norms).
Eligibility Criteria
JKSSB has set different educational qualification criteria for different posts. Summing it up, graduates and 10+2 pass candidates should go through the advertisement carefully. Various posts are available for ITI pass candidates as well.
Important Note: Candidates appointed under these rules shall be initially on probation for a period of five years and after completion of five years his service shall be declared as permanent subject to passing of such tests, or successfully undergoing such training as provided under the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956 or as prescribed under the relevant recruitment rules governing the post/service to which he has been appointed.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test/ interview. Candidate must produce the original qualification/ category certificates/ Bonafide certificates in case of qualifications obtained outside the J&K State before the Committee constituted for oral test or as and when the Board may call such documents so that their eligibility for participation in the Physical/Type/Written Test/interview is verified. Any candidate who fails to produce the relevant original documents/ testimonials on the scheduled date shall not be allowed to appear in the written/ oral test.

Interested and eligible candidates are required to send their application online along with fee of Rs 350 in any of the branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in the account number specified and printed on the payment e-challan.
