The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)-2015. According to a notice released by the KEA, the new exam dates for KCET-2015 has been announced as May 12th and 13th, 2015. Earlier the examination was due on April 29th and 30th, 2015 while, the Kannada Language Test was due on May 1st, 2015. The decision has been take in respect to the national strike, on April 30th, 2015, called by KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transportation Corporation) staff. The strike is being held against the Road Safety Bill. It will begin from mid-night of April 29 and will end at the mid-night of April 30, 2015.
To announce the changed KCET-2015 exam dates, KEA has released a press note on the official website. It is a very wise decision and is in favor of the entrants who might have planned to travel through KSRTC buses, on the exam day. The revised schedule for KCET 2015, including the Kannada Language Test, will be released soon, on the official website.
The admit cards for KCET had been published, earlier this month. A total of 1,58,073 candidates have applied for this entrance exam. KCET is held for the candidates who want to get admission in Engineering, Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Yoga, Medicine, Unani, Naturopathy, Architecture, B.Pharma, Pharma-D, B.Sc, Agriculture, Home Science, Engineering in the state of Karnataka.
