Eligibility Criteria for Kendriya Vidyalaya Jalpaiguri Teachers & Other Jobs:

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• PGT (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Commerce, Economics, English, Hindi) - Master’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate in concern subject with B.Ed. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi & English media. Knowledge of Computer Application.
• TGT (Hindi, English, Maths, Science,Social Science, Sanskrit) - Graduate with 50% marks in aggregate in also in concern subject in all the three years with B.Ed., more preference for CTET qualified candidates. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi & English media. Knowledge of Computer Application.
• Computer Instructor- B.E/ B. Tech/B.Sc (CS) OR BCA/MCA/M.Sc (CS/IT) PGDCA/’O’ level DOEACC with B.Sc or M.Sc or ‘A’ level DOEACC with PG Degree. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi & English media.
• Vocational Teachers (Music & Dance Coach, Sports & Games Coach, Yoga Teacher, Art & Craft Teacher)- Degree/diploma (B.P Ed,) in concerned field of Sports, Yoga) Diploma / Degree in concerned field for Dance / Art and Craft Teacher.
• PRT - Intermediate (class XII) with 50% marks. B.EL.ED., B.Ed, BTC more preference for CTET qualified candidates. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi & English media. Knowledge of Computer Application.
• Doctor (Part Time)/ Nurse - M.B.B.S and registered with MCI/ B.Sc. Nursing/Three years Diploma in Nursing from any recognized institution.
• Educational Counsellor - Graduate in Psychology with one year Diploma in counseling.
