Lalit Narayan Mishra Institute of Economic Development and change (LNMI) is one of the best Business Schools in Eastern India. The Institute was established by Dr. Jagannath Mishra in 1973 as Bihar Institute of Economic Development but renamed as LNMI in 1975, in the memory of late Sri Lalit Narayan Mishra, the then Union Railway Minister. Program Details:
1.Program Name: 2 years MBA program
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of CMAT / MAT score, held from May 2012 to May 2013, followed by his / her performance in GD and Personal Interview.
2.Program Name: 2 years MBA-Executive program
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline with minimum experience of two years at executive / managerial / administrative / supervisiory level as on 31 May 2013.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in GD and Personal Interview.
3.Program Name: 2 years MBA-International Business program
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ CMAT / MAT, held from May 2012 to May 2013, score followed by his / her performance in GD and Personal Interview.
4.Program Name: 2 years MHRM (Master of Human Resource Management) program
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ CMAT / MAT, held from May 2012 to May 2013, score followed by his / her performance in GD and Personal Interview.
5. Program Name: 5 year Integrated Management program (Master of Applied Management – MAM)
Eligibility: Intermediate or (10+2)
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in LNMI Aptitude test / Entrance test conducted by the Institute followed by his / her performance in GD and Personal Interview.
Application fee: Application form along with the Information Kit can be obtained by paying Rs.1500 (for all candidates except SC / ST candidates) / Rs.750 (for SC/ ST candidates) in cash to the Registrar of the University.
Candidates can also obtain the Information Kit cum Application form by sending a Demand Draft of Rs.1600 (for all candidates except SC / ST candidates) / Rs.800 (for SC/ ST candidates) drawn in favor of ‘The Director, L N Mishra Institute of Economic Development & Social Change, Patna’ payable at Patna.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates should send completely filled in applications, along with required enclosures, to ‘The Director, L N Mishra Institute of Economic Development & Social Change, 1, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, Patna-800001’ so as to reach the said office on or before 31 May 2013.
NOTE: Seats for NRI candidates are available for all courses except MBA-Executive.
