Maharashtra HSC & SSC Examination Dates Out

2.16 lacs students are to appear for the class 10TH  – SSC exam, all the while 1.81 lakh students for CLASS 12TH – HSC to be started from 25th September.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (SBHSCE) released information past Monday of 15,505 secondary school students and 5,911 students of junior colleges have applied and registered for board exam. The exam will be carried out in 1,015 examination centres. The last date for SSC exam is October 9th while last date for HSC exam is set as October 17th.

For HSC /10th exam, a multiple questions paper system has been set to test English subject. Language subject of total of 100 marks is divided into two sections, 20 marks for oral test, whereas 80 marks for written test. It will be compulsory for reappearing students to give oral examination of their respective language subjects. Besides, subject of Environment is mandatory as well as the exam for information technology (IT) is to be conducted online.

For SSC exam, it has been informed that the multiple question paper system will be valid for English (second and third language), general mathematics (part I and II) and mathematics (part I and II). In SSC Exam also, a 20-mark oral test will be conducted for language subjects.

For mathematics, part I and II both and general mathematics  - part I and II paper will be evaluated from 20 marks from  internal examination, besides,  120-mark written examination to be conducted.

Students who appeared for March 2013 exam or prior to March has to solve the assigned workbooks before appearing for the exam. Last date to submit workbook in schools is September 25 and 26, for defaulters.

The English subject paper for all first, second and third languages is to be accomplished on the same day.

To maintain security and smooth conduction of exams, CCTV cameras have been installed at most of the 'sensitive' centres.
