Going along with the Class 11 admission norms of the Maharashtra government, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to give the marks of Class 10 board exam of all the students. This will help the students while applying for Class 11 admission in various colleges across Maharashtra.
In addition to this, CBSE has also provided a list of schools along with their contact details. These schools will provide necessary guidance to students of CBSE board outside Maharashtra seeking admission to Class 11. CBSE has released a circular on its official website regarding this update.
This generous move of the Board comes in support of all students who are currently facing difficulty in filling their application forms. Recently, Maharashtra government announced that they will be using only marks to decide admission in Class 11. This move by CBSE will ensure that the students passing out of CBSE schools seeking admission in Maharashtra State Board Class 11 do not suffer.
CBSE Class 10 result was declared by the board on 3 June 2017, with Thiruvananthapuram having the highest pass percentage of more than 99. The overall pass percentage sees a dip of close to 5 percent. Maharashtra Board (MSBSHSE) Class 10 SSC Result 2017 is not declared yet.
