Military Engineer Services (MES) Invited applications for the recruitment to 463 post against the various vacancies for Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Meter Reader, Caneman, Store Keeper-II and Peon. The candidates with Metric and intermediate qualifications can apply for the post in prescribed format on or before 19 April 2016.
The interested candidates should have completed matriculation from recognised board to be eligible to apply for the above-mentioned posts and to be eligible for the post of Meter Reader the candidate should have completed Intermediate from a recognised board.
The eligible candidates can apply for the posts through the format prescribed along with the required essential documents latest by 19 April 2016. The candidates domiciled in far-flung North East State Region i.e. Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim and Ladakh Division of J&K State, Lahaul & Spiti Distt. and Pangi Sub Div of Chamba Distt of HP, A&N Islands and Lakshadweep can apply until the 26 April 2016.
The selection for the above mentioned posts will be done on the basis of Interview/Exam to be conducted by the Military Engineering Services (MES). The examination pattern will consist of question from General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and Awareness and Specialized Topic of 130 Marks. Exam duration will be of 2 Hours for general candidates and extra 40 minutes time will be provided for PH candidates.
