Military Engineer Services Vacancy for 463 Various Posts; Apply by 19 April 2016

Military Engineer Services (MES Recruitment 2016) invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Civil Motor Driver (OG) [CMD (OG)], Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Meter Reader, Caneman, Store Keeper-II and Peon. Candidates are invited under the pay scale of Rs. 5200-Rs. 20200+Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- and Rs. 5200-Rs. 20200+Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-

Candidates who are Matriculation pass from a recognized board or institution are eligible to apply for the posts except for the post of Meter Reader for which the candidate needs to be class 10+2 passed from a recognized university or institution. The age bar for recruitment is 18-27 years which is relaxable as per the categories.

The candidates who are interested and eligible for the posts can apply through the prescribed format along with other necessary documents on or before 19 April 2016. The last date of application for far flung areas i.e., for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, Lahaul & Spiti Distt and Pangi Sub Div of Chamba Distt of HP, A&N Islands and Lakshadweep is 26 April 2016.

The examination would be of 130 marks of 02 hours duration and for 02 hours 40 minutes duration for visually handicapped candidates. The exam paper would include questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and Awareness and Specialized Topic.

Selection of the candidates would be done on the basis of interview/ exam conducted by the organization.
