Eligibility Criteria for Military Engineer Services Recruitment 2016:

Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass from a recognized Board for all posts except for the post of Meter Reader, which requires 10+2 examination pass from a recognized board or university.

Age Limit: 18-27 years

Selection Procedure for Military Engineer Services Recruitment 2016:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of interview/exam conducted by the ministry.

Eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format along with other necessary documents on or before 19 April 2016 and on or before 26 April 2016 for far flung areas.

Post Wise Examination Pattern for Military Engineer Services Recruitment 2016:

The examination patterns for the various posts are different. The examination would be of 02 hours duration and for 02 hours 40 minutes duration for visually handicapped candidates. The examination pattern is discussed below.

Civil Motor Driver (OG) [CMD (OG)]

The examination would be of 130 marks i.e., General Intelligence and Reasoning for 25 marks; Numerical Aptitude for 25 marks; General English and Awareness for 30 marks and Specialized Topic for 50 marks.

Chowkidar

The examination would be of 130 marks i.e., General Intelligence and Reasoning for 25 marks; Numerical Aptitude for 25 marks; General English for 25 marks and General Awareness for 55 marks.

Safaiwala

The examination would be of 130 marks i.e., General Intelligence and Reasoning for 25 marks; Numerical Aptitude for 25 marks; General English for 25 marks and General Awareness for 55 marks.

Meter Reader

The examination would be of 130 marks i.e., General Intelligence and Reasoning for 25 marks; Numerical Aptitude for 25 marks; General English and Awareness for 30 marks and Specialized topic for 50 marks.

Caneman

The examination would be of 130 marks i.e., General Intelligence and Reasoning for 25 marks; Numerical Aptitude for 25 marks; General English for 25 marks and General Awareness for 55 marks.

Store Keeper-II

The examination would be of 130 marks i.e., General Intelligence and Reasoning for 25 marks; Numerical Aptitude for 25 marks; General English and Awareness for 30 marks and Specialized topic for 50 marks.

Peon
