    Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) conducts Mizoram TET exam twice a year. For this year, MBSE had released Mizoram TET notification on 30th November 2018 and Mizoram TET exam 2019 is scheduled on 22ndJanuary 2019. There are thousands of candidates, who appear in this exam and it is an excellent opportunity to become a teacher in the Mizoram state’s government schools.

    Mizoram TET exam is a mandatory test for the teaching candidates. After getting qualified in this exam, successful candidates will get a certificate and whenever there are teaching jobs notified by the Mizoram state government then the Mizoram TET qualified candidates can directly appear in the interviews. Mizoram TET exam is similar to the CTET exam. Mizoram TET exam is mandatory for those candidates, who want to become a government teacher in the Mizoram state’s schools.     To appear in the Mizoram TET exam 2019, one has to fulfill all the minimum eligibility criteria laid by the Mizoram Board of School Education. At the time of filling up Mizoram TET 2019 application form, a candidate must possess all the relevant documents with him/her.     Mizoram TET exam 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    The eligibility criteria for Mizoram TET exam 2019 are quite similar to the CBSE’s CTET exam. However, Mizoram TET exam is organized to recruit primary and upper primary teachers in the Mizoram’s government schools. For the recruitment of primary and upper primary teachers, paper-I and paper-2 are organized respectively. Following are the details of Paper-I and Paper-II.

    • Paper-I: This paper is mandatory for those candidates, who want to become a teacher for Classes I to V in the Mizoram schools.
    • Paper-II: This paper is for those candidates, who aspire to become a teacher for Classes VI to VIII in the Mizoram schools.

    Mizoram TET exam 2019 eligibility criteria: The following persons are eligible for appearing in the Mizoram TET.

    1. Minimum qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: (Paper-I; Primary Teacher)

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- years Diploma in Elementary Education

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- years Diploma in Education (Special Education)*

    OR

    Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two years Diploma in Elementary Education

    2. Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII:  (Paper-I; Upper Primary Teacher)         

    Graduation or above and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

    OR

    Graduation with at least 50% marks or above and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

    OR

    Graduation with at least 45% marks or above and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regard

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

    OR

    Graduation with at least 50% marks or above and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*

    Note: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled.
