The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has attended an event called “CM-Youth Conclave 2026” in Bhopal on 06 October. He interacted with the youth in the event and spoke on various topics such as employment, skill development, self-employment, entrepreneurship, and innovation, along with emerging technologies such as AI, robotics, drones, semiconductors, renewable energy, and EVs. In the interaction with the youth of the state, the CM announces that 2027 will be celebrated as the Youth Year and the government is planning to build 12 new universities, 1 medical college, and the recruitment examinations conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission will be held twice in a year starting from 2027 onwards so that more youth get employment.

2027 To Be Celebrated As Youth Year
While speaking at the Youth Conclave, the CM has announced that 2027 will be celebrated as the Youth Year and his government will make efforts to provide more employment opportunities, skill development, self-employment, higher education to the youth of the state.
85000 Jobs Provided Till Now
The CM also said that during the tenure of his government, the government has appointed candidates for a total of 85000 vacancies across various departments of the government. This ensures that employment is being generated at a good pace in the state and the youth need not to migrate to other cities in search of employment.
Jobs in AI & Startups
The CM while interacting with one of the students has told that the government is focusing on empowering the youth so that they become entrepreneurs i.e. rather than seeking employment, they should generate employment in the field of AI and StartUps. The government is developing Bhopal as an AI City. They have built IT Parks in Indore, Rewa, and Ujjain so that employment is generated. The government will also provide financial assistance of Rs.5 Lakh to a selected student for R & D in the field so that they can become entrepreneurs. The government is also focusing on attaching the students to the industries for skill development.
MPPSC Exams To Be Held Twice In a Year
While delivering his speech at the Youth Conclave-2026, the CM also said that to increase the government jobs and provide employment to more youths in the state, the government is planning to conduct the recruitment examinations conducted by the MPPSC twice in a year. This means that the candidates will be able to appear for a single exam two times in a year, if they miss out on the previous one or have failed the previous one. This is great news for the candidates aspiring for the MPPSC exams as there will be more opportunities now.
