1. Stenographer (Grade- II) 01 post

Pay Scale:  Pay Band of Rs.9300- 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4400 plus 20% D.A. per month

Age limit

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 30 years

Educational Qualifications

Graduate or equivalent with Diploma Certificate in English Stenography and working knowledge of Mizo Language of Middle standard;

2. Stenographer (Grade- III): 2 posts

Pay Scale:  Pay Band of Rs.9300- 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 plus 20% D.A. per month

Age limit:

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 30 years

Educational Qualifications

(10+ 2) or equivalent with Diploma Certificate in English Stenography and working knowledge of Mizo Language of Middle standard

Selection procedure

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the skill test (shorthand speed test), written test and personal interview.

Candidates qualifying the Shorthand speed test would be allowed to appear for the written Examination and those candidates, who would qualify the written test only would be called for the Personal Interview.

Application Procedure

Interested and eligible candidates should submit their duly-filled in application form along with attested copies of all certificates/ documents by post to ‘the District Deputy Commissioner Office, Mizoram Public Service Commission Office, New Secretariat Complex, Aizawl’ on or before 29 December 2014.

The prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Office of Mizoram Public Service Commission, New Secretariat Complex, Aizawl and the Offices of Deputy Commissioners Lunglei, Saiha, Champhai, Kolasib, Serchhip, Lawngtlai and Mamit during office hours on cash payment of Application fee of Rs.210 (Rs.200 + Rs.10)/ Rs.160 (Rs.150 + Rs.10 for SC/ ST candidates).

The Application fee can also be paid at the Reception Counter of Mizoram Public Service Commission Office or deposited in the Treasury under the Head- 0051-PSC, 102-State PSC (Examination Fee. etc) or by uncrossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of Secretary, Mizoram Public Service Commission.
