Eligibility Criteria for Research Associate and Other Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Research Associate : Master’s degree in Agriculture with specialization in Agronomy or Agricultural Meteorology Work experience in climate modeling and hands-on skills in running DSSAT crop models Demonstrated research and publication record in the peer-reviewed literature or specialization in vulnerability analysis and evaluation of adaptation options Work experience in climate vulnerability analysis Demonstrated research and publication record in the peer-reviewed literature

Project Manager for Rice Bio-Park at MYANMAR: M.Sc. or Ph.D., in Food Science & Nutrition or Biochemistry or Biotechnology with a Sound Knowledge in rice Chemistry and Technology and a few years experience in the analytical work relating to rice and rice nutrients.

Scientist – Biotechnology, at Karnataka & Tamil Nadu: M.Sc. Agronomy/Genetics/ Plant Breeding and Soil Sciences are preferable Able to speak/write/read Kannada and with good communications skills with the farming community.

Post Doctoral Fellows and Associates: Ph. D degree or having submitted their Ph. D thesis 

Mid Career Researchers: candidate should have done applied research in the areas of Nutrition, Agro biodiversity and Coastal ecosystem management

Selection Process for Research Associate and Other Posts

Candidates will be elected on the basis of academics, and Interview.
