The exam dates of 4 subject papers and timings of 3 papers were revised by Mumbai University on 11 April since the dates in former schedule were clashing either with other subject combinations of the same group of students or with dates of exam of reappearing candidates from previous semesters. The schedule has been revised four times so far, leading to confusions among TYBA students.
The reason for postpone of examinations and various changes in paper schedule were elections as well as shortage of staff since they had to go for trainings for poll duty.
The concern of students is the likeliness of delay in announcement of results. The Exams for 16 May are yet to be rescheduled.
The affected students because of recent changes would be from TYBA and MA programmes under the credit-based grading system (CBGS). Therefore, they are advised to see the details of the new schedule on the website.
A TYBA student who got an ATKT only in one paper told that his last exam is on May 2 and if its result will be delayed by the university then it may affect his chances of admission in higher studies. Besides, the officials of university are also hassled over the changes.
