UP Combined state/upper subordinate services examination-2012(Preliminary) will be held on 10 June 2012. The competitive examination comprises three successive stages viz :- 1-Preliminary Examination (Objective Type & Multiple choice). 2-Main Examination (Conventional Type, i.e.Written examination). 3-Viva- Voce (Personality Test).
The Preliminary examination will consist of two compulsory papers of which answer sheet be on OMR sheets. The will be one GS paper and CSAT paper.
UPPSC has introduced CSAT paper from 2012. The papers shall be 200 marks each and of two hours durations. Both the papers shall be objective Type & multiple choice in which there shall be 150-150 questions.
The questions from International section were frequently asked in the previous UPPCS examinations. Keeping in mind the importance of the segment, the Jagran Josh team compiled the relevant and significant national segment news of the last 6 months (from December 2011 to May 2012).
