Naval Dockyard, Mumbai Notified Recruitment of 325 Apprenticeship Training Posts 2014

Naval Dockyard, Mumbai invited applications from eligible ITI qualified candidates in various trades, who fulfill the requisite criteria for enrolment to Apprenticeship Training for the following below mentioned designated trades in the Dockyard Apprentice School for the training period of One year and Two year duration. The candidates eligible for the enrolment for Training may apply on or before 15 October 2014.

(A) One Year Training

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Matriculation (Class X Pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.

• Must have passed ITI in the concerned field from the recognized Institution.

 Age Limit

14 to 21 years

 Stipend 

Candidate will get the Stipend Per Month of Rs. 2,100/- or Rs. 2,400/- or Rs. 2,800/- or Rs. 3,100/- depending on the period Apprenticeship Training.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the Matriculation and ITI and performance in the Written Test followed by the Personal Interview or Medical, which will be conducted by the administration. Written Test will be conducted in Dec 2014 / Jan 2015 and Interview/ Medical in Feb / Mar 2015.

How to Apply

• Interested Candidates may apply in the prescribed format along with the duly attested photo copies of relevant certificates/ testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications, experience, category (SC/ ST/ PWD), etc., Character Certificate, Certificate from Employer in case of Son/ Daughter of Naval Civilian/ Defence Employee with a recent passport size photograph, one must be affix on the application form (if reqd.) and duly filled Hall Ticket may be forwarded to the “PO Box No. 10035 GPO, Mumbai – 400 001” through Ordinary Post only on or before 15 October 2014.
