National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS), Kerala invited online applications from eligible candidates, for recruitment to various posts in the Institute under Earth System Science Organization (ESSO). Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification

• For Post 1 to 3: Possess Master’s Degree in the appropriate discipline or equivalent with relevant experience.
• For Post 4 & 6: Possess Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate discipline or equivalent with relevant experience.
• For Post 5: Possess Matriculation (10th Standard) Pass and ITI Course or equivalent with relevant experience.

 Age Limit & Relaxation:

• For Post 1 & 2:  Not exceeding 50 years.
• For Post 3:  35 years.
• For Post 4:  Not exceeding 28 years.
• For Post 5:  Not exceeding 25 years.
• For Post 6:  Not exceeding 40 years.

Pay Scale

• For Post 1 & 3: Pay Band (PB – 3) and the Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600/- Per Month.
• For Post 2: Pay Band (PB – 3) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- Per Month.
• For Post 4: Pay Band (PB – 2) and the Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- Per Month.
• For Post 5: Pay Band (PB – 1) and the Pay Scale of Rs. 5,200/- to Rs. 20,200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/- Per Month.
• For Post 6: Pay Band (PB – 2) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- Per Month.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test/ Skill Test/ Practical Test/ Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
