National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS) invited applications for recruitment of 10 various posts. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 10 October 2014. CESS is an autonomous research centre under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India situated at Thiruvananthapuram.

• Project Scientist C: Rs. 15600-39100 GP 6600
• Project Scientist B: Rs. 15600-39100 GP 5400
• Research Associate: Rs.22000 + HRA
• Senior Research Fellow: Rs.18000 (for NET/GATE qualified)/Rs.14000 (NET qualified for lectureship) + HRA
• Junior Research Fellow: Rs.16000 (for NET/GATE qualified)/Rs.12000 (NET qualified for lectureship) + HRA
• Senior Technical Assistant: Rs.12000
• Junior Technical Assistant: Rs.10000

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidate should have Graduation Degree and Master Degree in relevant fields as per the posts.

Maximum Age limit (as on 10 October 2014)

• Project Scientist C: 40 years
• Project Scientist B: 35 years
• Research Associate: 32 years
• Senior Research Fellow: 32 years
• Junior Research Fellow: 28 years
• Senior Technical Assistant: 28 years
• Junior Technical Assistant: 26 years

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Trade Test and Interview.
