1. NDA Online:- HOW TO APPLY
Eligible candidates can apply online by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in. Brief instructions for filling up the online Application Form are given in the following sections. It is advised that candidates should read the instructions carefully before filling the required details. Also, retain a printed copy of online application form for future purposes.
2.INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES FOR FILLING NDA ONLINE:
Detailed instructions for filling up the applications NDA Online are as follows:
•For applying online, a candidate must have scanned copies of photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format in such that each file should not exceed 40kB in size and should not be less than 3 kB in size for a photograph and 1 KB for signature.
•Candidates must fill the NDA Exam Online Applications (Part I and II) from 2nd January 2016 to 29th January 2016 till 11.59 PM after which the link will be disabled.
•Log on to the official website of UPSC (www.upsconline.nic.in).
•Click on “Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC”.
•Select the desired option & fill the application form containing two stages viz. Part I and Part II by selecting the desired link.
•In online mode, candidates can pay the application fee through online access (credit card, debit card or net banking). Candidates can also pay offline at any SBI Bank Branch through the E-slip generated during the filling of form.
•After submitting the application form, take print out of system generated application form for further reference.
Important Notes:
i.Multiple applications should be avoided.
ii.The applicants must ensure that while filling their Application Form, a valid and active E-mail Id is provided, as the Commission may use electronic mode of communication while contacting them at different stages of examination process.
iii.Candidates are advised to apply well in time without waiting for the last date for submission of online application.
3. APPLICATION FEE
The application fee to be paid by the candidates is Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using any Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
The candidates belonging to SC/ST need not to pay the application fee against NDA I 2016 application form. Those who are the sons of ex-serviceman/ JCO/NCO and Other Ranks of the Army are also not required to pay any fee for the application form. If such candidates are currently pursuing their studies from Sainik or military school then they are required to produce the certificate of eligibility duly signed by the principals at the time of SSB interview.
