Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Joint Director: Doctorate in vegetable Science or any other relevant subject relaxable to Master degree n the same subject with exceptionally distinguished record of productive research and vegetables along with Production & Marketing of vegetable seeds and having at least 9 years productive Research n vegetables & Production and Marketing of vegetable seeds (excluding the period spent for obtaining Doctorate degree) for candidate possessing a Doctorate degree and 12 years for Master degree holders, along with productive research r vegetable crops and production & marketing of vegetable seeds.
• Assistant Director: Doctorate in Horticulture / vegetable Science relaxable to Master degree with distinguished record of productive research extension. At least 3 years research / extension experience in relevant field (excluding the period spent for obtaining Doctorate Degree) for candidate possessing Doctorate degree and 6 years for those having Master degree. Working knowledge of English, Hindi & 0diya is essential.
• Technical Officer (Plant Protection): Master degree n Plant Pathology/Entommology with at least two years of experience in relevant field. Working knowledge of English. Hindi and Odiya is essential.
• Technical Assistant: Graduate in Agriculture with at least two years experience in R & D and vegetable seed production. The knowledge of Kannad I Telugu / 0diya one of the language is essential.
• General Clerk: Graduate with knowledge of typing with the speed of wpm in English & Odiya is essential.

Age limit

• Joint Director: 35-40 years
• Assistant Director: 27-30 years
• Technical Officer (Plant Protection): 22-25 years
• Technical Assistant : 22-25 years
• General Clerk: 18-25 years

Pay Scale

• Joint Director: Rs. 15600-39100 +Rs. 7600
• Assistant Director: Rs. 9300-34800+Rs. 5400
• Technical Officer (Plant Protection): Rs. 9300-34800+Rs. 4200
• Technical Assistant : Rs. 5200-20200+Rs. 1900
• General Clerk: Rs. 5200-20200+Rs. 1900

Selection Procedure

Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of written test followed by an interview.
