National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID), erstwhile NIMH invited applications for recruitment to the post of Director, Assistant Professor (Medical PMR), Assistant Professor (Special Education), Prosthotist & Orthotist, Clinical Assistants and Vocational Instructors on contractual basis at Composite Regional Centre at Nellore, Andhra Pradesh State. Eligibility Criteria for NIEPID (NIMH) Director, Assistant Professor & Other Posts:

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• Director: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline of rehabilitation (recognized by RCI/MCI) with 8 years experience in related field including 2 years experience in Administration.
• Assistant Professor (Medical PMR): MBBS from a MCI recognized Institute with minimum 3 years experience in clinical/teaching/research.
• Assistant Professor (Special Education): Master Degree with M.Ed. (Special Education) in any category from a RCI recognized Institute with minimum 5 years experience in teaching/research in the field of Rehabilitation.
• Prosthotist & Orthotist: Degree from a recognized Institute in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
• Clinical Assistants: BSc (Sp&Hg)/BRS (MR)/BRS/BRT/BMR/PGDRP/BPT/BOT or equivalent degree from a recognized Institution/University.
• Vocational Instructors: 12^th and Diploma in Vocational Training/DVR from a reputed training Institute in the related field.

Age Limit:

• Director: Not exceeding 50 years
• Assistant Professor (Medical PMR): Not exceeding 45 years
• Assistant Professor (Special Education): Not exceeding 45 years
• Prosthotist & Orthotist: Not exceeding 40 years
• Clinical Assistants: Not exceeding 30 years
• Vocational Instructors: Not exceeding 30 years
