National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM) invited applications for the post of Associate Professor (SG) and Other Posts. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format within four week from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News.
Under NIFM Recruitment 2016 out of total 27 posts for teaching position on contract basis, 09 Posts are for Professor, 02 Posts are for Associate Professor (SG), 05 Posts are for Associate Professor, 07 Posts are for Assistant Professor and 01 Post each is for Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Accounts Officer, Faculty/Research Associate, and Assistant Librarian.
Eligibility for Professor: candidate should be an Officer of Central/State Governments with Post Graduate degree in relevant subject with minimum 55% marks or CAs/ICWAs/CSs having 14 years service in Group ‘A’ and inclination towards teaching or Officers of equivalent status with same minimum academic qualifications from Public Sector Undertakings/Banks (PSUs/PSBs) or other Public Funded Autonomous Bodies like IIMs etc.
Eligibility for Associate Professor (SG): candidate should have a Doctoral degree. He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. For Economics discipline, minimum percentage of marks is 55% at PG/Masters level. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout. Candidate should have a minimum experience of 08 years in teaching/research/industry/professional of which at least 04 years teaching experience should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.

For Economics discipline, minimum percentage of marks is 55% at PG/Masters level. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout. Candidate should have a minimum experience of 03 years in teaching/research/industry/professional. In exceptional cases, the condition of 03 years of experience can be relaxed.
Eligibility for Chief Administrative Officer: candidate should be a Group ‘A’ officers of Central Government in equivalent grade or with 5 years of service in Group A, preferably from IA & AS, ICAS, IDAS, IRAS, IP&TFAS or Indian Cost Accounts Service.
Eligibility for Chief Accounts Officer: candidate should be a Group ‘A’ Officers of Central Government in equivalent grade or with 05 years of service in Group A preferably from IA & AS, ICAS, IDAS, IRAS, IP&TFAS or Indian Cost Accounts Service.
Eligibility for Faculty/Research Associate: candidate should have a doctoral degree. He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. For Economics discipline, minimum percentage of marks is 55% at PG/Masters level. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout.
Eligibility for Assistant Librarian: candidate should have a Masters Degree and Ph.D in Library Science/Library Information Science with 05 years continuous experience in a reputed and well-stocked Library of Universities recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) or recognized management Institutes of National/International repute.
