NISWASS, Bhubaneswar Notified Recruitment for 03 Various Posts 2014

    National Institute of Social Work and Social Sciences (NISWASS), Bhubaneswar invites applications from the eligible candidates for fill up the following posts of “Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work, Social Communication, Journalism and Mass Communication, Rural Management and Department of Women’s Studies. Retired persons may also apply. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 30 April 2014.

    Professor: 01 Post     

    Associate Professor: 01 Post

    Assistant Professor: 01 Post             

    Eligibility Criteria 

    (i) Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline with a minimum of 10 years teaching experience and a minimum of 10 publications for post 1.

    (ii) Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience and with a minimum of 5 publications for post 2.

    (iii) At least 55% marks at Master’s degree level, NET by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET for post 3.

    Age Limit & Relaxation 

    Appropriate relaxations for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority candidates will be as per rules of NISWASS.

    Pay Scale/ Salary 

    Salary or Emoluments for the Candidates should be as per rules of NISWASS Per Month.

    • Interested candidates may apply in the prescribed format along with the attested photocopies of relevant testimonials/ certificates relating to educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, category (SC/ST/OBC) should reach to the “Director General, National Institute of Social Work and Social Sciences (NISWASS), 3, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar - 751023, Odisha on or before 30 April 2014.

    Selection Procedure

    The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical/ Skill Test/ Interviews, which might be conducted by the administration.
