Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. It invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment of Stipendiary Trainees.

Name of the Post & Number of Vacancies

• Stipendiary Trainees (Scientific Assistant- B): 40 vacancies (Mechanical 15, Electrical 18, Electronics/ Instrumentation 7)
• Stipendiary Trainees (Technician- B): 65 vacancies (Plant Operator 20, Fitter 23, Electrician 10, Electronics/ Instrument 12)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification

• Stipendiary Trainees (Scientific Assistant- B): Three years diploma in the relevant discipline. Should have English as one of the subjects in the SSC or HSC level examination.
• Stipendiary Trainees (Technician- B): 10+ 2 with not less than 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI (not for Plant Operator) in the relevant discipline. Should have English as one of the subjects in the SSC level examination

Age Limit (as on 1 May 2012)

• Stipendiary Trainees (Scientific Assistant- B): Between 18 years and 25 years
• Stipendiary Trainees (Technician- B): Between 18 years and 24 years

Consolidated Stipend

• Stipendiary Trainees (Scientific Assistant- B): Rs 9300
• Stipendiary Trainees (Technician- B): Rs 6200 (1st year; Rs 7200 2nd year)

Selection Procedure: The candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will have to go through written test, trade test, and personal interview in the concerned discipline.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates have to apply through prescribed application format and send along with photocopies of relevant documents by ordinary post before the last date at "Post Box No. 453, Basavanagudi, Bangalore- 560004". The application should be super scribed as ‘Application for Stipendiary Trainees (Category-I or Category II)'.
