Panjab University, Chandigarh invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up the 05 posts of Principal and Assistant Professor at P.U.Constituent Colleges in Punjab and Dept. of Community Education & DisabilityStudies, P.U., Chandigarh.The candidates eligible for the posts may apply on or before 23 June 2015.

Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification: Qualification must be from the recognized Board or University or Institution with the relevant post- qualification experience in the concerned field.

• For Post 1: Possess Ph.D. Degree with relevant experience.
• For Post 2: Possess Master’s Degree in any discipline and M.Ed. Degree in specific Disability area with relevant experience is desired.

Pay Scale

• For Post 1: Pay Band (PB – 4) and the Pay Scale of Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/- Per Month.
• For Post 2: Pay Band (PB – 3) and the Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/- Per Month.

Application Fee

Application Fee (Non- refundable) is of Rs. 375/- (for General candidates), Rs. 150/- (for SC/ ST candidates) and Rs. 185/- (for PH candidates)in the form of Pay –in- Slip which can be deposited in “Panjab University, Chandigarh A/c no. 33417855484”, payable at any branch of SBI.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
