The government of India in a bid to encourage citizen engagement in the governance has started recruiting professionals on a contract and part-time basis. Govt regularly requires professionals with a wide area of expertise for short-term projects and engages them on project/contractual or part-time basis.
The government has developed policies to facilitate the participation of citizens in the governance and has also launched a website with the aim to create a databank of resumes. Professionals from every specialization and fields are invited to submit their resumes at the concerned dedicated portal i.e (MyGov).
Govt departments are adhering to the policy of the adoptive government and increasingly imbibing new technology in their day to day functions. Personnel departments rather than spending time and resources on recruiting and training fresh recruits now hire professionals to fulfil their short-term requirement through part-time or contractual recruitments.
Several govt departments also engage in empanelment of professionals to hire them as per the immediate requirement of departments. Here we are listing a few govt job notification for hiring on a part-time basis.
National Capital Region Transport Corporation Ltd (NCRTC) invited applications for the post of Part Time Doctor. Eligible candidates can apply to the post in the prescribed format on or before 18 July 2018.
