Pay Scale

• Rs.37400-67000 + GP Rs.10000 + Rs.1000/- Special Allowance and rent free accommodation for post no. 1 & 2.
• Rs.37400 – 67000 + AGP Rs.10,000/- + Rs.800/- p.m. Special Allowance for post no. 3 & 4.
• Rs.37400-67000 + AGP Rs.9000/- for post no. 5 to 7.
• Rs.15600-39100 + AGP Rs.6000/- for post no. 8 to 17.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology: PhD in any discipline of Engineering.
• Director of Extension Education: PhD in any discipline of Agricultural Science or Agricultural Engg. Or Home Science.
• Additional Director of Extension Education: BSc/BSc (Agri.)/BSc (Home Science)/ B.Tech/B.V.Sc/B.V.Sc. & A.H. and PhD in any discipline of Agriculture with good academic record.
• Additional Director of Communication: PhD in any branch of Agriculture or Journalism or Mass Communication or Journalism and Mass Communication or Languages.
• Seed Production Specialist: BSc (Agri.)/BSc (Hort.)/BSc (Forestry)/BSc (Med.)/ BSc (Hons.) and PhD in Plant Breeding/Agronomy/Plant Pathology/Horticulture (Vegetable Science/Floriculture & Landscaping).

Application fee

Candidates will be required to pay Rs.800/- for post no. 1 to 4, Rs.600/- for post no. 5 to 7 and Rs.500/- for post no. 8 to 18 in the shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana.

Selection Procedure

Selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of interview.

How to Apply

• Candidates have to apply in prescribed format which can be obtained from the office of Registrar, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. in cash at the counter by 11 June 2014.
• It can also be obtained by post from the office of the Registrar, PAU, Ludhiana by sending requisite cost of the application form (Rs.300/-) in the shape of bank draft in favour of the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana payable at Ludhiana along with self addressed envelope (28x12 cms) bearing postage stamps of Rs.45/- by 2 June 2014.
• The application complete in all respects along with DD and attested copies of all required Certificates / Documents should be submitted in the office of Registrar, PAU, Ludhiana by 11 June 2014.
