Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is scheduled to be held on 28 December 2013, for which more than 2 lakh candidates have registered for it and expected to appear to write it. Detailed and well managed arrangements have been made to take this test at large scale smoothly, informed an official on 24 December 2013.
There are 391 examination centers planned and prepared to take this test. Whereas, 36 nodal centers have been established at district and sub-division levels in order to help and guide the applicants, told a spokesman for a state education department.
He added that the head department is dedicated to conduct the PSTET in an unbiased manner and through a transparent approach, with constituted enough flying squads for the same.
In addition, the Deputy Commissioners will also be monitoring these implementations, he informed about CCTV cameras and video footage facilities to be installed at each examination centre.
Physically handicapped or Differently-abled candidates are to be allotted 20 minutes extra for each paper, told the spokesman.
The timings for general and reserved candidates during first test is to be held from 10 a.m to 12.30 p.m , while, second tests will be conducted from 2 p.m to 4.30 p.m.
